Avondale is destroyed. Where the army that decimated the city is, no one knows. With the constant fear that the enemy is at her back, Princess Wravin leads what remains of her people to Ildaria, the last stronghold of the Gelics. Elorac, the island of the immortals and last defense for the lands in the west is under assault from Terihor, the sorcerer who nearly destroyed Vandilor thousands of years ago. Rasband and Brayden must journey to that island in hopes of saving Tobin Ramira, the oldest and strongest immortal who was though to have been killed during the attack on Elorac. Against the power of Terihor, Ramira may be their last hope of victory. Kitch, an orphaned dwarf, is trapped in the subterranean realm of Terihor. With items that can turn the tide of the battle to come, he and two prisoners hatch a desperate plan of escape. However, in order to gain their freedom, they must get past a demon from ancient times and the entire host of Terihor.
